What
We Believe
1.
There is One God -- He has revealed Himself to mankind through
the Bible.
2. Our One God reveals Himself in Three Persons: The Father,
The Son and The Holy Spirit who function in complete and
perfect Oneness.
3. We believe the Bible is the full and complete Word of
God. It is able to make us wise unto salvation. It is not
simply to be taught or heard, but obeyed in all of life.
4. We believe the two greatest commandments, which summarize
all of God's Law, are:
1) Love God with all your heart, soul and mind.
2) Love your neighbor as yourself.
5. We believe that Salvation is by Grace through Faith.
Our Salvation was purchased completely and freely by Jesus
on the Cross. In response to His amazing grace, we must:
1) Hear God's Word and Call: (Romans 10:17)
2) Sincerely Acknowledge my Sinful and Lost condition: (Romans
3:23)
3) Call upon the Name of the Lord for Mercy: (Romans 10:13)
4) Personally Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and
He died for my Sins: (Romans 10:9-10; Romans 5:6-8)
5) Repent and Turn Away from my Sins: (Acts 2:38)
6) Confess my sins and my faith in Jesus Christ: (1 John
1:9; Romans 10:10)
7) Be Baptized in the Name of Jesus for the remission of
my sins: (Acts 2:38)
6. We believe the Christian Life is to be a Balanced Life
of Love and Devotion to God and our fellow man. This will
involve:
1) A close and personal relationship with God in Christ.
2) A deep sense of my personal value to God -- knowing that
He is working in me.
3) A deep, life-long commitment to my marriage and family.
4) Loving one another in Christ -- which involves bearing
one another's burdens.
5) Being honest and dependable in my work and community.
6) Working diligently to provide not only for my own family
needs, but also to share with those in need.
7) Doing good works of service in the neighborhood and community.
7. Our Hope is to help bring the kingdom of heaven to earth,
and to go to heaven when we die. |

Baptism
We
believe that everyone needs to be baptized into Christ for
the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Matthew 28:19-20)
Baptism
is simply one aspect of our "obedient faith".
We are saved by Grace through faith, that not of our own
effort, it is a gift from God. Baptism is one of the clear
commandments of Jesus, a necessary act of faith. Our salvation
rests upon the sacrificial death of Christ upon the Cross
and His Resurrection from the dead.
1) Baptism is immersion in water: (Romans 6:3-5). It is
a burial in water.
2) Baptism is a personal act of obedient faith -- therefore
we do not practice infant baptism.
3) Baptism is a personal re-enactment of the Death, Burial
and Resurrection of Christ. We are united with Christ in
Baptism: (Romans 6:3-5)
